Abstract

Welcome to my "about-me" page! For a very brief summary, I took a very non-linear path towards my undergraduate degree, and am extremely lucky to have been supported by many people and institutions.

About Me

Mountain landscape
My first trip to UCI, in May 2022

I am originally from Princeton, New Jersey, and found my way to higher levels of mathematics by reading about Nash's Theorem in an economics class. I've bounced around a lot academically:

Institution Degree Years
University of California, Irvine Ph. D. in Mathematics 2022-Present
Claremont Graduate University M.S. in Mathematics 2021-2022
Pomona College B.A. in Mathematics (Pure) 2018-2021
Budapest Semesters in Mathematics Semester Abroad Fall 2019
Boston College B.A. Coursework (Transferred) 2017-2018
Montgomery High School High School Diploma 2013-2017
Here's a little summary on where I've been.

In completing my doctorate, I have been extremely fortunate to have received support from the Southern California Geometry and Topology Center. In the past, I have received the John M. Krenkel Fellowship, the Rena Gurley Archibald High Scholarship Prize (awarded to the valedictorians of Pomona College), the Phi Beta Kappa Award, and the Bruce Jay Levy & Llewellyn Bixby Mathematics Prizes.

Outside of mathematics, I love playing Go, dancing (breakin', bhangra, bollywood, and hip-hop), listening to music, watching movies, and reading. I also have a sporadically updated YouTube series In My Room.

In my youth, I was lucky to have participated in some really formative programs: German-American Partnership Program and High School Diplomats, where I was a high school exchange student to Germany and Japan, respectively, between 2015 and 2016.

Friends

I have been incredibly lucky to be supported by a bunch of wonderful folks, both in the world of mathematics and out. I encourage visiting their websites as well. Here's a few really formative mentors of mine:
